- Will Sjorensen - Creator, Executive Producer, Staff Writer

Will Sjorensen (rhymes with "fjord in sin") is in his mid-twenties, lives in the midwestern United States, and holds a middle-class job. He looks like no one in particular. To give you an idea of his personal interests, here are some of his favorite people: Stephen King, Stephen Baxter, Stephen Hawking, Steven Walsh, Stephen Dillane, and the participants in the NCSE's Project Steve.

Somewhere around Star Trek IV and the early seasons of TNG, Will became hooked on Trek. Not all that surprising, considering he was still in early childhood and desperately wanted to be an astronaut -- but two decades later, he is still hooked. His favorite Trek series is DS9. In 2002, he began writing original work and fanfic under the Sjorensen pen name; around the same time, he noticed Star Trek: Renaissance, and joined their writing staff a year later. To date he has written or co-written over half a dozen episodes for REN.

Will cannot say where he got his idea for Star's End -- no writer can ever say that with certainty (Eric Brown's theory is that there's a little old lady in Leeds who runs a service; you send her money, and she'll send you an idea) -- but the idea had been evolving in his head for a couple years before, in the fall of 2004, he launched the Star's End project and called for writers, artists, developers and editors to participate. He hopes that his idea -- a script-based Trek fanfic centered around a planet, rather than a starship or space station -- will help to spark new levels of innovation and creativity among Trek writers, and make for entertaining material for the fans.

- Cynthia Dusenbery - Executive Producer, Staff Editor

Currently in her fifth year of university, Cynthia gained senior status after the 2004 Fall term (needs 135 credits to be a senior; the university she goes to is on a trimester schedule). She studies English with a major in writing and a minor in literature. She has one more term of university life and will hopefully graduate in the spring of 2006 with a BA in English. She took German for her required foreign language; Cynthia also took four years of high school German. She is currently apart of German Club (once a member, always a member... until graduation), the National Honors Society Phi Kappa Phi, and was accepted in to the English Honors Society Stigma Tau Delta in late April, 2005.

Cynthia days are full of homework for school, which entails a lot of reading and writing, and going to work at a construction company, where she files and runs errands. She is also the staff editor for Star's End. In her off time she likes to read, write poems and short stories, watch TV, post at Internet message boards, and spend time with her friends. She also enjoys the company of her cat, Lily, a grey colored female with a lot of spunk. Her favorite color is blue, and her favorite shows currently airing are Veronica Mars, Monk, The Dead Zone, Battlestar Galactica, The Office, My Name is Earl and Law and Order: SVU. Favorite shows not airing are Mystery Science Theater 3000, Alien Nation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Enterprise, The X-Files, Titus, Newsradio and Futurama.

Cynthia has lived in the Northwest all her life, has traveled along the west coast and has visited Mexico. She does not get much of a chance to travel much due to busy life and little money, but she would like to someday visit Germany.

Cynthia has watched Trek almost all her life, since TNG's first season. She loves to write during what spare time she has. This is her first time working for a fan fiction series.

- Bob Crosswell - Staff Artist

Bob has a masters in Aeronautical Engineering, a Masters in Electrical Engineering, and a Masters in Electronic Warfare from MIT. He has other degrees in Business, Education, Physics, Communications, Weapons Systems, Astro-Physics, Mechanical Engineering, and Computer Science.

Bob has a master Mechanic's license (A&P) for aircraft.
Bob has every pilot certificate available to be issued and about 6000 hours Pilot in-Command-time.
Bob got the nickname drbob while in the Air Force, he was a walking encyclopedia for weapons systems and aircraft. However, secretly Bob thinks his nick name came because people just couldn't read his handwriting.
Bob's only Hobby is art. He creates art by making it with his computer in wonderful world of 3D.
Bob was a Trek fan since "The Cage," so naturally, he likes to illustrate for Star Trek writers.

- Adam Murray Briggs - Staff Writer

Adam has been writing mostly prose for several years, but after leaving the hormone-controlled teenage years, he decided to give scriptwriting a go. After figuring out what a teaser was, he instantly settled into writing for screen faster than a beat cop getting comfy on a park bench. He has been a fan of Star Trek ever since he got a glimpse of the 3 Data's on "Brothers" when it was first aired, and has since enjoyed every single incarnation of the saga (less so with Voyager). After exploring The Original Series fully through the medium of the DVD, he decided to give his own virtual show a go, creating Star Trek: Atlantis and planning treatments for 74 episodes (and actually writing a few, too!) set in the groovy 2260's. However, after reading the stunning first season of the fan show Renaissance, he decided to abandon the idea and have a go at writing for someone else and, more importantly, with other people.

Wanting to have a career in writing novels and screenplays, Adam hopes that the experience gained from fellow writers will help him achieve that goal. And if it doesn't, at least he'll have had fun along the way. Adam is currently studying English Literature and Creative Writing at Liverpool Hope University, UK, but still manages to fit in a bit of Sci-Fi around all the assignments and alcoholic beverages.

Adam is a Staff Writer for Star Trek: Knight's Haven and Star Trek: Star's End. He is also contributing to the third season of Star Trek: Frontiers and is Creative Producer at Virtual Enterprise. He also has the aforementioned Star Trek: Atlantis in development, as well as a Doctor Who Virtual Series, which will hopefully debut in November 2006.
